Another trip down memory lane. The 1970's, the flares, the kipper ties, the American tan tights. Every Glasgow wedding would play this and the women would get up and dance The Slosh, it was the law. I loved the slosh and the alleycat too, I can still do them now.
When I started this blog in 2007 I was a single parent with 3 children aged 14, 11 and 10. Now in 2016, every one of those children has grown up and left home. I now live with my lovely best friend, my second and last husband and fellow blogger Mr Adventures in Reality and part of the time with the boy wonder, the one he made earlier. We try and outwit the offspring, do the house up and travel as much as we can.
I've never heard that full song before, good to hear it now. I love the slosh to it's like early line dancing.
ReplyDeleteLolly - you're right it is like line dancing but every "do" I ever went to this was played.
